John S. Freeman

Mr. Freeman has practiced law in the Philadelphia area since 1983. From 1982 to 1988 he served as Associate Dean of Administration for The Medical College of Pennsylvania as well as Associate General Counsel.
In 1989, he established his present office. Drawing on his extensive administrative and legal experience gained while employed by an academic medical center, Mr. Freeman committed his practice to representation of health care providers within the private and institutional sectors. While building on that foundation, Mr. Freeman has found many other businesses and individuals in need of similar services.
Mr. Freeman serves as general counsel to several large group practices and is counsel to an extensive number of individual health care providers. He has represented several department chairpersons of academic medical centers during their recruitment process, including assistance in drafting department business plans.
Mr. Freeman also served as Chair of the St. Davids Independent Review Board and as a member Schulman Associates Independent Review Board for the purpose of protecting the rights of human subjects in clinical research.

Mr. Freeman was a visiting instructor for the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine at The Medical College of Pennsylvania. He also was adjunct faculty in the School of Business Administration at Widener University.
Mr. Freeman earned his JD and LLM in Health Care Law from Widener University School of Law, MBA from Drexel University, and a BA from Syracuse University.
